A2 G324 Advanced portfolio in Media- Production briefs
I have finally decided for my media coursework to do the promotional package brief of a new film which includes a film trailer and two options which are a Poster and the front cover of a movie magazine featuring the new film. The purpose of these other options is to support the film and make it seem more professional. This is because I really wanted to be able to use the Adobe Premier Pro software we learnt how to use so I can produce a high quality teaser trailer. I think I have more knowledge of trailers rather than music videos due to the fact that I don’t think I could perfectly match up the music to my singer or band’s mime successfully. Over the last week I have made progress in terms of what genre film trailers were popular with other Media students and of course the audience which I found out to be Horror. At the moment my ideas are a little vague so I think I will need to form together a questionnaire so I can find out more about what my audience would like to see such as whether it should be short with key clips or longer and more informative.
Web 2.0 has been constantly used to share film trailers easily .Below is an example of a recent Harry Potter trailer from YouTube.
